Dear Rotarians,

Here’s how our club is helping two groups with one gesture during this current COVID-19 crisis. Members may use the button below to donate the cost of their lunch to The Media Rotary Foundation by Wednesday at 8pm and we will use that money to purchase lunches at one of our local Media restaurants and have them delivered to a different department at Riddle Hospital.

Club In-Person Meetings and Events Cancelled Until Further Notice – Moving Online

Given the current stay-at-home order the Rotary Club of Media has cancelled our in-person meetings in the near term and postponed indefinitely other events. However, like other Rotary clubs around the world we are embracing technology and now conducting meetings online or by phone to maintain our Rotary community.

Rotary is still here globally and locally, still doing good in the world; and there is more we can do. We can put a greater emphasis on the work we do in our communities by keeping our hearts open to our less fortunate neighbors as they cope with the effects of isolation, fear and want. Our club, like others is mounting projects like the one above helping local merchants affected by the shut-downs as well as providing lunch for first responders and other necessary hospital personnel locally. Stay tuned for other efforts as we join together.

Please take care of yourselves; and remember, Rotary Connects the World!

Susan K. Garrison

The Four-Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do:
  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
